When should I anticipate hearing back from you?
I aim to respond to emails and messages within 24 hours, excluding weekends and holidays. If you
haven’t received a reply, please check your junk folder or resend your message in case it didn’t go
through.
What is online counselling?
Online counselling is a convenient way to speak to your counsellor. This form of counselling is a convenient way to engage in therapy, and we can connect wherever you are in the world. We still maintain our boundaries, and I can talk you through how to ensure your space is discrete and confidential whilst in sessions
How does Online Counselling work?
Online counselling is offered via Zoom (video or call) or Telephone.
We will agree a weekly ‘appointment time’.
For Zoom and Telephone counselling, this will be the agreed time to meet on Zoom or the telephone.
Do you offer a sliding rate scale?
I believe that therapy should be accessible for everyone and that’s why I do offer concession rates for those who need it. Please get in touch to find out more.
How many sessions will I need?
The number of sessions required will depend on your needs.
Some clients engage in short-term therapy (about 6 – 12 sessions) and others choose long term therapy which can be at least a year.
Some clients may choose to take a break and come back later.
Each person’s experience is unique, however the one thing that holds for every client is that you are in the driving seat. You decide.
I need some advice – can you help?
Therapy is not an advice-giving service. I can certainly support you in exploring your choices and decision-making process. It is my hope that through being in therapy, you begin to gain self-awareness and feel empowered to make decisions that feel right for you and learn and grow from the consequences and impact of those decisions. I believe that YOU are the expert on yourself.
